As 圣澳门金沙赌城线上游戏 nears the transition from Phase 3 to Phase 4 of its strategic planning process, the University is grateful to the working group members who have invested time, 能源, and research into the four pillars developed from community input so far. These working groups were chaired by:

The working groups used data from Fall 2023 focus groups conducted on campus and the community survey administered in December and January. Working group members each also conducted their own research on peer and aspirant institutions to define differentiators, 识别创新者, and position 澳门金沙线上赌博官网 to deliver the best possible outcome for all.
Student-focused教育
Members of this working group considered how to leverage 澳门金沙线上赌博官网’s high-quality faculty and educational offerings to further its educational mission and student outcomes. Priorities from the Student-focused教育 sessions focused on expanding and improving co-curricular offerings while leveraging the strengths of 澳门金沙线上赌博官网’s classroom experience. Many of the ideas that emerged from this working group built upon 澳门金沙线上赌博官网’s existing strengths to further differentiate the student experience.

Members of this working group en愿景ed 澳门金沙线上赌博官网 as a 国家 exemplar of innovation and co-curricular programs. When expanding upon the theme of 独特的项目, the working group outlined different types of hands-on learning opportunities, such as community engagement or comprehensive summer experiences. These opportunities would encourage students to experience personal development, 参与民间话语, and foster an appreciation for the arts.
支持性物理环境
Members of this working group reflected on the impact of 澳门金沙线上赌博官网’s physical spaces on the student experience and considered how to promote 健康 and belonging within these spaces. The working group emphasized connectedness, 学生中心, 连接到户外, 可持续性, 健康, 包容与归属感, and accessibility as essential to en愿景ing and embodying a supportive environment.

Members of this working group focused on leveraging 澳门金沙线上赌博官网’s location and culture as a piece of the 圣安东尼奥 community and as a destination workplace for both the supply and demand of talent. The working group recognized that the University must better leverage its bustling urban location in its proximity to downtown 圣安东尼奥, 并且必须培育强大的本地, 状态, 国家, and inter国家 relationships nurtured through external engagement and community relationship management.

This webinar marks a significant milestone in our strategic planning efforts. Feedback from this webinar will conclude Phase 3, Facilitated Visioning and Design Thinking. Upon conclusion of the working group sessions, 澳门金沙线上赌博官网 will begin defining the University’s strategic direction over the next three to five years. This includes developing high-level priorities for our mission, 愿景, 目标, 以及行动步骤, as well as the assessment of possible strategic alternatives.
