概述
The 地球科学 Discovery course sequence will provide students with an introduction to the earth, earth processes and history, and the geological resources, geologic hazards and environmental issues relevant to society. Students will learn to apply scientific reasoning and critical thinking to develop the scientific literacy skills necessary for productive civic engagement in the 21st century.

Completion of at least 10 credit hours including:
a) one 1000-level 地球科学 course (either GEOS 1303, 1405, 1406, 1307, or 1409),
b) GEOS 2400 (Prerequisite - 1000-level 地球科学 course or completion of NS Approach of Pathways), and
c) one course from the following list: GEOS 2402, 2403, 3307, 3408, 3310, 3411, 3315, 3319 (Prerequisite -- GEOS 2400 and/or 1000-level 地球科学 course and/or completion of NS Approach).
